Joe´s passing causes immense sorrow. This is a major loss for those of us who knew him as a friend and colleague and were significantly influenced by him in the progression of our careers. Dottie, my thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of your beautiful family. I am Betsy Marshall Rock. I knew Joe and Jean Gayle when they lived in Rock Hill. Jean Gayle was in our class at Winthrop Training School for a short period. I have fond memories of them both. Sad to say that those days were my last time of seeing them. I would have loved meeting you and reminiscing with Joe about those short but great days together. Thinking of you during these hard times.
