I wanted to reach out and say hi to Joe, when I learned of his passing. He was on a movie shoot in Ohio, when he came over to speak with a few of us stand-ins and extras. Joe humbly explained how he was just in the right place at the right time when he began his acting career. He encouraged us and said opportunities could happen for us as easily as they did for him. I never forgot his kindness and hope he knew the salvation gift of Jesus. Blessings to his family!

#1 Rockford Files Fan!
A truly fantastic man and actor. I grew up with the Rockford Files and loved it. I even dedicated a blog which reveals all the filming locations for the TV series.

The entire cast of the Rockford Files has to go down as one of the best set of actors for a TV series.

I am sorry for your loss of a dear lived one. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us that God's true thoughts are of peace for us, not pain. May reflection on his goodness comfort you.

I met Joe Santos at an acting class in 1983 at UCLA. He became quite a wonderful friend and mentor in my life during a time of much searching and learning.Although I lost touch with him over the ensuing decades, I will always be grateful for the time I did have with him.I am thankful to have met him,a most encouraging, inspiring, and compassionate soul, and truly talented actor!Photo just posted of a special memory in 1984 on the "Cover Up Set" with my mom. I will miss you Joe!
