Joe Wayne Scoby, Sr. passed away at his home on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at the age of 83. Joe retired as a sheet metal worker. Joe is survived by his wife of 62 years, Alice Scoby; children, Pat, Alan, and Joe; grandchildren, James, Kurt, Keith, Trisha, Kyle, and Jacob; 8 great-children; and 2 siblings. He was preceded in death by son, John; his parents and 8 siblings. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs, LA on Friday, December 15, 2017 from 11 a.m. until Funeral Service at 1 p.m. Interment will follow on the grounds of Denham Springs Memorial Park.
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Mom and Dad(David and Bernice) always looked forward to Uncle Joe's visits. He never came empty handed. He always brought some kind of fruit with him. I remember as kids we loved to go to Uncle Joe's and Aunt Alice's for the family fish fry. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
