Patricia J. Kaat, age 69, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 22, 2025, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
She was born in Sheboygan on April 17, 1956, to the late Victor and Alice (Handrow) Goebel. Patty was employed at Lakeshore Display for over 29 years and most recently at Kohler Company, until her retirement. In 2018, Patty was united in marriage to Kevin Kaat. She was formerly married to Ken Wilke.
Patty enjoyed woodworking and watching the sports, especially her Wisconsin teams. She loved spending time with her family and furry companion, Norbert and will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her husband, Kevin; siblings, Robert (Jeanne) of Sheboygan Falls, Fred “Fritz” of Sheboygan, John of Ada, David (Amy) of Manitowoc and Mary (Dave Beimel) Marshman of Howards Grove; step-children, Alex (Becky) Kaat of Sheboygan and Amber (Jimmy) Heling of Newton and step-grandchildren, Crystal, Gabe and Anya; other family and friends further survive.
Along with her parents, Patty was preceded in death by a brother Dennis.
A Celebration of Life for Patty will take place on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Doug’s Skip’er Inn, 808 Broadway Ave. in Sheboygan from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
Memorial donations can be made in Patty's name to either Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice or Sheboygan Health Services.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at Sharon Richardson, Sheboygan Health Services and St. Nicholas Hospital for the excellent care given to Patty.
