Nella J. "Nell" Kaat

March 26, 2025

MADISON - Nella J. "Nell" Kaat, daughter of John H. and Hattie (Dirkse) Haartman, entered into the presence of the Lord on March 26, 2025.

Nell lived her life serving others on her faith journey. If you were fortunate enough to know her, you may have been blessed by one of her wonderful meals, delicious baked goods, a prayer or visit, caring for your special pet, or an "OrigiNell" creation.

Nell was thankful for her friends and family who held a special place in her heart. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 66 years; three wonderful children and their spouses; precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law and his wife; and many nieces and nephews.

Nell is reunited in Heaven with her parents; mother and father-in-law; her brother and sister-in-law; a nephew; and beloved grandson.

A service for immediate family will be held to celebrate her life. Memorials may be made to Extended Hands Pantry (for her love of sharing a meal) or to Bristol Hospice. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
