Not sure what to say?

Mary Kay,

We were so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. He was a good friend and one I enjoyed many good conversations with. Dan Walters got it right when he wrote that Joe 's character was more important than idelogy. Joe was one of a kind and he will be missed. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Mary Kay we are prayeing for you and your family

Mickey,

We extend our deepest sympathy in your loss of Joe. May the memories of your life together be the strength to keep you going. We look forward to you returning to our tennis group -- whenever you feel ready just let us know. Our love to you--the "Friday Morning Tennis Group" (Arlene Burrow, Mary Sowers, and Sally Hill)

Mickey we love you both and I'm going to miss sparring with "ol' Joe.

Mickey - I know this must be a very
difficult time for you. You need to keep remembering that you have many friends and family who want to help share your grief. Lean on them!

Joe was "one of a kind" and all things wonderful. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Mary Kay,
Extending my condolences to you and your family during this time of loss. You are in my prayers.
May the Almighty guide and bless you and your family with the strength to endure.

Respectfully,

Uncle Joe,

Thank you for for all the fun years on Muirfield, and for teaching my dad how to fly in your AT6. I wish you peace as the two of you take a spin in the heavens.

I was so sorry to hear about Uncle Joe's passing. He was such a nice man, I have so many wonderful memories of time spent with him. From sailing to Catalina, riding the train from Del Mar home, spending the night at the Shell house - he always made things fun! My thoughts and prayers go out to you all.
