Joe W. Sherrill lost his battle with complications due to pneumonia on Sunday, November 17, 2013. He was just short by two months of reaching his 86th birthday and 68 years of marriage to his wife, Mary La Jean Davis Sherrill.
He owned Denton Marble and Tile Co. with his son Joe Davis Sherrill.
Joe is survived by his wife, Mary La Jean Davis Sherrill, daughter Rhonda Ann Sherrill, Son, Joe Davis Sherrill and wife Alonda Kim Sherrill. His grandchildren Lonie Jo Ann Sherrill White and husband Paris Dylan White, Joshua Adam Sherrill, Joseph Paul Sherrill and great grandchildren, Aden Christopher Corona, Skylar Rose White and Jocelyn Grace White.
A Memorial Service is pending and will be announced at a later date.
