Joe Edward Sparks

When I was an undergraduate at UAH (1973-1977) I was hired as a student assistant in the office of Dr. Graves, the University's president, and my desk was a few feet away from Joe's. We became good friends and he was a fine mentor. I always enjoyed his sense of humor. I respected and admired him, and I extend my condolences to his family. He was a good man.

Our memories of Joe are very special. He was an amazing person that has been in our lives for a very long time. His shining personality will live on in our hearts. Gail, we are deeply sorry for your loss and we send to you healing prayers and comforting hugs.

Sorry to hear about Joe passing! We were classmates at RSC CLASS OF 1962. He attended all our reunion´s. Always loved seeing him. He was a great friend. Will Miss seeing him!! We called him Pope Joe!!

Joe was always a friend to me and an inspiration to myself and others. Gail and family, he will be missed.
