Condolences to the family.
William Fishbeck

My deepest sympathy to the Strauss family. Joe and Gladys and "Uncle Henry" gave me my first job. It was truly one of the best jobs I've ever had. There was always laughter and fun at the Gazette office. What a wonderful tribute to the Strauss family to see so many come to pay their respects and celebrate Joe's life. I know he will be missed and pray that your memories and God's love will comfort you in your loss.

Pat and Bobby,
So sorry to read about your dad's passing; he was such a dear soul; he will be missed. With sympathy.

Our thanks to Joe, who was very helpful in our move to Yorktown.

Gladys, Marian, Bobby, Pat, and Mark, Mike and I would like to express our deepest sympathy on the death of your husband and father. We have so many memories of "Pappa Joe". Always remember those Clipper games and the get togethers afterwards. I know that he is in heaven playing polkas and drinking that good old Shiner beer. I hope you always remember the good memories of your husband and father. He could always make me laugh with his jokes and his smile. He will be missed by all. Mike...

Our condolences to the Strauss family. Great children are a reflection of a great man. Bless you all. Rod Leer and the Brenham ISD Technology Department.

My brother, Melvin H. Muecke and I want to offer our condolances to Joe's family. I was fortunate to have had a short visit with Joe at the HOBO concert at the Shiner Catholic church spring picnic. Joe was the current Curt Messer of the Shiner Hobo band fame.

I have known Joe all my life and he was a very fine man. Always smiling and ready to help anyone in need. The Shiner community will be without a very special person and will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
