Joe Tupin

I knew Joe in his later years and feel so fortunate to receive some his wisdom and compassion. We loved discussing music and art, but especially his knowledge of the human mind!

Gone, but never, never forgotten.

I was honored to sit with you at Christmas and listen to your brilliant mind. I am honored to be loved by your legacy. The world lost a giant, and an intergalactic treasure. Rest easy with Nana Betty, you deserve it sir. Love you Ma, Ashley, Faith and Hails Ali

Remembering the years shared at UCDMC and bumping into you periodically at the Safeway in Davis. You will be missed my friend.

Joe was one of my longest time colleagues at UC Davis and will forever be among my favorite memories. Loved his humor, relied on his wisdom. My heart goes out to all who knew him.

I remember Joe in his office at the School of Medicine. He had rocking chairs and a round crocheted rug (the kind you make from rag bag scraps) and we would sit together and renew the residents' and interns' health insurance every year. Later, Joe was my neighbor, and he always had time to stop and chat. He was one of my favorite people.

I only got to know Joe late in his life, and for not long enough. He was a great neighbor and a fine person.
