Not sure what to say?

Pat and the Tyler Family;

I just found out about Coach Tyler. I am deeply sadden by the loss of a great man and a true hero.

To my father, Staley Bijak, he was one of the greatest people this world has known. The lives this man has touched over the years is truley amazing. I can remember the times when we would come visit yall and the first thing dad and coach Tyler would do is use me as a blocking dummy while they talked football. But more than that, my dad always...

TO THE TYLER FAMILY,
WITH SHAME, I JUST NOW READ OF COACH TYLER'S DEATH. I WORKED UNDER HIM AS A WORK BOY-JUNIOR COUNSELOR AT CAMP STEWART DURING THE SUMMER OF 1965. HIS IDEAS AND TRAINING REALLY AFFECTED ME AS I CONSIDERED MOVING FROM MY HOME IN COLUMBUS, GA. TO PLAY FOR HIM IN TEXAS. I FINALLY DECIDED TO FINISH MY SENIOR YEAR OF HIGH SCHOOL IN COLUMBUS, BUT, HIS OPTIMISTIC APPROACH TO THE GAME OF FOOTBALL, AND, MORE IMPORTANTLY, THE GAME OF LIFE, STUCK WITH ME. I'LL NEVER FORGET...

Coach Tyler was the finest man I have had the honor to know. He was my coach for two years at Haltom High.

My condolences to your family. Psalm 23. You are in my prayers.

God bless you!

I miss Pawpaw! What an awesome place he is in with Jesus right now in Heaven. I can't wait to see him again!

Hello my name is Christian

Dear Melinda and Tim,
You may or may not know that Mark and I moved to Austin a couple of years ago. I just learned of Coach Tyler's passing. We send our deepest sympathy and know that it is a great loss for your family and all who knew him. He was such a respected man in his profession and that is something to be proud of. We are thinking of you.

To Coach Tyler's family, my prayers and thoughts are with you. I never had the chance to work with Coach Tyler but several of my friends served as Athletic Trainer for him and I was fortunate to get to know him through them. He was a good man and coach that taught the lessons of life as well as football.
