Not sure what to say?

I witnessed the patience, fortitude, and a deliberate eye for detail on maintaining Heathkit electronic kits and kite-flying, along with a fully-dedicated one-hour lesson on the game of backgammon - July 1983, at the Lake Michigan shoreline. A kind hour of instruction and patience that I will never forget. :) PMV

Joe and Jon, we are so very sorry for your loss. We have so many fond memories of your Dad at St. Mary's and later when they moved to Holland Home. Your parents were the perfect example of goodness and grace. Sending you all prayers for strength and peace.

Thinking of you all especially you, Ron, and holding you close. And wishing I could be there.

We are with you in Spirit. We loved and admired Joe so much. You are in our hearts and prayers. Dave and Margy McCafferty

Dear Jon, Joe, Polly, Huck and Mary Lou, Ron and your families. I love you. Rosie

To ALL Joe's family and especially to the sons and wives of Joe and Jan. We will be walking through all this in Spirit with you. Condolences to Polly, Huck and Mary Lou and Ron and the extended Voss families. A large light has gone out in your world and in the larger world around Joe's life as well.

You will be missed by all who loved you dearly my brother-in-law. I will never forget your cordial greeting "welcome to our home", and then you indeed made all feel welcome.

God bless you, Joey and Jon. Your dad was a wonderful man and is rejoicing in heaven with your mom.

Joe was a valued member of our Holland Home family. As a staff member, I had the privilege of experiencing Joe and Jan's wisdom and encouragement over several years. I will miss them. May God grant all family members and friends His comfort and peace.
