Joe E. Zimmerman, 81, of Huntsville, went home to be with the Lord Sunday. Joe was born to Charlie and Edna Wood Zimmerman in Balko, Oklahoma. He married his high school sweetheart, Edna, in 1957. Joe received a B.S. and M.S. degree in engineering, and retired from NASA in 2001 after 41 years....

So sorry to hear about Joe's passing. He was such a wonderful person when we were going to school at Balko. Loved his family and yours too Edna. I loved reading about him singing all those years in the Living Christmas Tree program. He is still singing with the angels now.
