Not sure what to say?

After missing Jo for a whole year, it hardly seems possible that it's been a year since she was with us. And yet, a long, long time since we saw her loving smile. We can only trust in God that she and Bart are happy in God's home now.

Thank you for including me in the memorium. Your and my mothers were very much ladies. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Judy, I'm so sorry for your loss. It was wonderful to read about Jo's life. She experienced events that we can only imagine. Our lives are so simple now compared to what your mother must have gone through. She's passed down so much love to her children, grand children, and great grandchildren. You were all blessed to have her touch your lives for so long. I know you will cherish your photos and memories and she will never be forgotten. Love Phyllis and Don.

Judy sorry about your loss...thinking of you.

I know how much you and Vicki are like your mom and that is the most wonderful thing about moms. They have the ability to pass on all that is good in them, all the good that they have learned, and the wonderful ways they lived their lives on to their children. You two are the beneficiaries of your mother's kindness, gentleness, and love of life. I know that you are passing these traits on to your children and grandchildren as well.
I remember fondly all the days spent at your house as...

She was always so gracious! Wish we could have known Jo better! Jim & Mary Jo Welp

What a lovely story of Jo's life. A smart, gentle, beautiful lady who touched so many lives. I treasure the moments I was able to spend in her presence. I can picture her winking at us all right now! Thinking of you Judy, Vicki, and all of her wonderful family.

Mom's Catholic faith was very important to her. If she missed Mass in the chapel at Calaroga, you knew she was not feeling very good. She loved her Bible study and she actually wrote out all the books of the Old and New Testament and their page # in her Bible so she could find them easily and quickly. She was very ecumenical and loved the Hanukkah festivities as well as the Protestant Sunday vesper service and the afternoon rosary group. She taught me how to pray and I will always be grateful...
