Not sure what to say?

I worked with Dr. Alvis back in 76 when I worked in medical records at Baptist and on the Urology floor. He was always so nice to me and would help if I had a problem. My condolences.

My deepest sympathies for your loss May God's Word strengthen you during this difficult time. For he will deliver the poor one crying for help, also the afflicted one and whoever has no helper. He will feel sorry for the lowly one and the poor one, And the souls of the poor ones he will save. Psalms 72:12, 13

Phyllis, Martha Jean and Joe. Dec 25, 2010

Joe, a kind, gentle and loving person. We will miss him.We have wonderful memories of happy times together. Tom and Phyllis

A fine, caring man with fine, caring sons and family.

To Erskine and all the family -
My thoughts and prayers will be with all of you at this difficult time. Know that you are loved.

Grace and peace,

After fifty years of medical practice, I still vividly remember Joe's influence and help to me as a student, intern and a Family Physician in Jackson. I am certain that his family knows what a blessing he was to so many persons and to his fellow physicians.

May the Lord surround you with grace and peace in this tender time of loss, remembrance, thanksgiving and celebration.

Rest in peace JOEL L. ALVIS, SR. My sincere condolences to the Family

Rick and I are so sorry to learn about the loss of your dad, but we celebrate that his baptism has been completed in his death and that he has joined the great company of the saints. May God's comfort and peace be with your family as you settle into this new season without your father's physical presence. Love, Mary Gene and Rick
