May the family find comfort and peace in the spirit of the Lord.

A Sunset on earth...is a Sunrise in Heaven! We embrace you tenderly with our thoughts and prayers during this time as we ponder, even through the sorrow, the eternal glory that has dawned for your precious loved on.

I will greatly miss Joel for he was a shining light in the Oaks Community.

"...May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal comfort and a wonderful hope, comfort you and strengthen you..." (2 Thes. 2: 16-17)

Dearest Karen & Anna, I am very saddened to read about the passing of Mr Bass. He was very smart, kind and thought of in high regard throughout Alamance County. My Mother, was an educator/principal w Alam School System for 41 years at Haw River School. May God richly bless you and give you a piece of mind during this time, and at holiday season. With much thoughts and continued prayers.

I'm proud to say Mr. Joel Bass hired me for my first job, in 1981, as a mechanic with Ala.-Burl. Schools. I held that position until I transferred to Guilford Co. Schools in 2005. Now retired, I can say he was a great inspiration for me to be, all I could be, with North Carolina Public Schools Transportation. He will be missed. God Bless his wife, & family.
