Not sure what to say?

Another year, another tear! Godspeed!

I see all these fine things written about Joel and I wish i had never lost contact with him. I broke both my legs the day after Christmas in 1968. Joel then broke his leg about a month later. I was attacked and mauled by a dog a year later and sure enough Joel was attacked by a dog a few months later. Thats when our parents said "That enough you two". I missed my alternate family

Joel was my best friend while growing up. I spent a lot of time with his family in Wallingford CT. We were like brothers, but after I went in the Navy we lost contact. Rest in Peace brother. Your family was my family.

I met Joel's Dad Al first, thru his wife Deb, then Joel, He was a Bartender at local Bars at Lake Winni., the summer of 1986, He came to work for me, banging nails on one of my Framing Crews, He was a good carpenter, a Great Friend, Godspeed, Tink McMinn

He made such an impression on me.

So sad to hear about Joel. Such a unique, direct, intelligent man. I waited on him at Mid Cape Home Centers for a long time. He definately had a special "light" about him, which i am sure is still radiating.

Our prayers are with you all.
An old friend,Vanessa Dragotti Tillotson

To Laura, Cole and family,
I sincerely give thanks for knowing Joel, a devoted husband, father, and friend.
He gleamed when he spoke of Cole and you. I was blessed to have know him in AA, constantly welcoming others and sharing the true message of the program.
His sense of humor will be remember.
God bless all of you at this time of grief.
Sincerely,
Donna DeVasto and family

I will miss Joel's friendly smile and casual conversation. The adoration he had for his family was obvious. He was truly special and I am thankful to have known him.
