What a great man, it was always a pleasure to take care of your tree care needs,Rest in peace, my thoughts and prayers go to your family.

So sorry to hear of Joel's passing. I had the absolute pleasure of caring for Joel (and Wendy) for almost 30 years. We'd all gone to Brown so bonded over that and sailing. We always had so much fun chatting. Such a wonderful guy! I will miss him.

Joel and I were friends in the 1950s in Brockton, Mass. We were part of a large group of boys and girls(mostly of Jewish faith who spent lots of time together at parties, playing ball together. Joel and I were excellent math students with Joel, being a year ahead of me and therefore a good source of aid with tough math problems. Joel went on to Brown and I to Tufts. I do remember Joel and Wendy's elegant wedding at the elegant house of her family in Stamford. My best to Wendy and her family.

Dear Wendy and Family, I was the luckiest person in the world to have had Joel as my first Manager after graduating college and starting at IBM. Joel was incredibly bright but was kind, considerate and, unlike many IBM managers, a real Mensch. I learned so much from Joel and shared many a laugh. Those were truly good times. May all the good memories be a blessing to you and the family.
