Thoughts and prayers to your family. So sorry for your loss. But what a glorious time when he woke up in Heaven. And a wonderful reunion for you all some day. Hugs...

Joel was a great person, he will be missed by many. RIP Joel

Please know that the works that your loved one shared and performed in the earth have an effect even on those whom he never met like myself. The witnesses that speak of his obedience to and impact in the kingdom clearly speak for him. May your days ahead be comforted by the awesome man of God you had the pleasure of sharing life with. Our God shall continue to supply all of your needs according to His riches in glory. God bless you now and always, a sister in Christ.

Our condolences and prayers for the Burton family today. Always enjoyed the church services where Joel attended. He always had a testimony of his faith and his witnessing to others was both memorable and courageous. Psalm 25:10 All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies. God bless this family for their encouragement of faith and salvation.

My deepest condolences to the entire family during this time of sorrow. I met Joel at a revival and he was one of the most godly man I've ever met. Hold on to the wonderful memories you had with him. We will see him again!

I will never forget Pastor Joel. I met him one random Saturday and he took time out of his very busy day to pray for me! I learned from this one act of kindness that we are never too busy if another is in need. I am paying this forward to the best of my ability and will continue to do so, His work here is done and now he may rest in peace with Our Lord with the knowledge that his work continues through all the people whose lives he touched!

I will never forget Pastor Joel. I met him one random Saturday. He didn´t know me at all but took time from his very busy day to pray for me. I will never forget it. He taught me with that one act of kindness that we are never too busy when another is in need! I am paying that lesson forward as much as I can and will continue to do so. His work here is done and now he may Rest In Peace with Our Lord with the knowledge that his work continues in all the people whose lives were touched by him.

Sometimes in life certain events just leave us numb, speechless: our minds began to wander, and wonder. But shall the hand say unto the Potter why did you make me? Pastor Joel was very dear to my heart. He was my brother. I'm in my mourning process even now. But let there be no misunderstanding! We don't weep as the world weep as if there's no hope; for we have a blessesed assurance: a sure hope that his name is Written in the Lambs Book of Life. And one day the dead in Christ shall arise...

I loved participating in the food pantry with Pastor Joel. He would always take the time to pray for those who asked for a prayer. You will be greatly missed.
