Read MoreWe have been friends since Taylor Grade school. Linda, my wife and I, celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary and Joel was kind enough to fly out to Seattle to celebrate with us. He was a kind soul. He memorized Bible verses which would ,later, be sprinkled in his conversations. I am looking forward to meeting him again and laughing about alkl the things we did as kids. Joel was a true friend.

Joel was a good guy. I learned a lot by listening to his stories at the tank wash and then when we worked together at IDS. I remember going with him to his mother's house to get something from the garage and seeing all of those dirt bikes surrounding his Lotus Europa and thinking wow, he really does have a Lotus. Joel was always full of surprises.
