Joel James Deville

Mr. Deville hired me with the State Treasury back in March 1976. He gave me a chance when a lot of people might not have. I've never forgotten that are his kindness through the years. My condolences to the Deville family.

Joel was always quite the gentleman as was Lewis, no matter how rowdy Marie and Sybil got! They enjoyed many good laughs over coffee. We share in your sadness at this time.

As a past commodore of Pelican Yacht Club, I knew Joel and the long standing relationship we had with him. He was a kind man, with whom it was easy to maintain our 50+ year relationship. We will miss him.
