Joel L. Foust

FOUST, Joel L. - Of Burton, age 76, died Monday, September 1, 2003 at his residence. Funeral service will be held at 1PM Thursday, September 4, 2003 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Bill Bridgman officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family. Visitation 11AM-8PM Wednesday at the funeral home. A memorial service will be conducted by Morning Star Lodge No. 556, F.&A.M. at 7PM Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Mr. Foust was born in Cherry Valley, Arkansas on October 9, 1926. He married Fay McGinley on February 17, 1990. He was a member of Morning Star Lodge No. 556, F.&A.M. and the Elf Khurafeh Shrine Temple. Mr. Foust was employed by GM, Fisher Body for 33 1/2 years. He owned Caboose Lounge, Trapper Joe's Lounge and the Green Turtle Lounge. Surviving are wife, Fay; children, Diane Jacobs of Burton, Steve and wife Bernice Foust, Irene and husband Dennis Lacey, all of Burton, PO2 SW Donald McGinley, Jr. of San Diego, Navel Station, Donna and husband Matt Bentley of Burton; grandchildren, Tonya, Justin, Carrie, Samantha, Brian and Matthew; many nieces and nephews.
