you came into our lives when you were just a boy and grew up into a fine young man. I remember when you brought your first born son over to show him off. your chest swelled with pride.Thank you for the good memories you left us with. you will always be in our hearts and minds.

Our deepest sympathy to all. We were so sorry to hear of you loss. Joel was a wonderful man and father. You all will be in our prayers.

Joel, I will never forget the fun we had growing up canooing, swimming, wrestling, iceberging and too many more to mention. I also enjoyed working with you the past four years. You'll be missed by many. My deep sympathy to Hillary and the Funk family .

Joel was a gift to everyone that knew him. Even though he is no longer physically here, he is everywhere I look as I drive around this town. My prayers are with his family.

not only were you my cousin, you were a wonderful childhood friend growing up. i was so sorry for the funk family when i heard the news and i was hoping i could see you once again as i was coming up the next week, but now your having reception night with all of our loved ones before us. my prayers are with all the family
