I worked with him at Pflugerville machine shop, his wife had bought him a calf. He was trying to pen the calf one time and it kicked him and gave him a black eye. He was one of the funniest guys I ever knew.

Rest In Peace Joel. Prayers for all family and friends. I went to school all my years with Joel from kindergarten to senior year. He was a genuine good guy. I vividly remember me and my dad visiting his dad when we were probably in kindergarten. Joel was there too it was the four of us. I remember Joel had stitches in the palm of his hand, I asked how that happened he said from Johnson grass. Ill never forget that.
