Not sure what to say?

A fine man and terrific dentist. So sorry . Gone too soon. I was a patient.

JOEL AND MARY ARE NEIGHBORS OF MINE HERE IN LAKE TAHOE IN THE SUMMER MONTHS.
I WILL MISS SEEING JOEL CRUISE BY IN THE MORNINGS GOING TO GET HIS NEWSPAPERS AND ESPECIALLY...SEEING HIM READING ON HIS DECK.
HE WAS SUCH A GENTLEMAN, AND MARY IS SINCERELY ONE OF THE NICEST WOMEN I HAVE EVER MET.

LOVE,

JANE & ALEX

Dear Mary,
Today I heard of Joel's passing. I am so sorry that I missed his memorial service. I will always remember the twinkle in his eyes as he would begin one of his "stories", and the jokes that he and Gary Williams would play on each other. I know how dear you and your family were to him. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

I just found out about Joel's death and want to tell you that you are in my prayers. He was a wonderful man and a great dentist.

Joel lived a life of service to his family, friends and community and his presence will be deeply missed. It was a profound privilege and an inspiration to practice dentistry next to Joel in Reno. However, what I remember with most tenderness was the fun we had playing softball for the dental team for so many years, learning together that there can be joy in losing. To Mary and the entire Glover family, my heartfelt condolences.

I have known Joel for 50 years. Even though I went to RHS were were still friends. I was very happy to see and chat with him at the 2009 Toolie Open, I am very sad that it was our last conversation. I will miss him but always remember him. Phi Alpha, brother.

Our deepest sympathies to Mary, Joel T and Jeffie and the entire famity. As a collegue of Joel's he has not only been an icon to our dental community, he has lead by example. He inspires us to give the most to our patients, profession, community and family.
He will be missed, but will live on in the fire he has ignited in us all.

I HAD THE PLEASURE OF MEETING AND PLAYING FOOTBALL WITH JOEL AT NEVADA IN THE EARLY 1960s--HE WAS ABOUT A NICEST GUY I HAVE EVER MET--MY HEART AND PRAYERS GO TO ALL OF HIS FAMILY--I HAD PLANNED FOR SURE TO MAKE THE FUNERAL BUT COMPLCATIONS ARISE--MY BEST JIM BRONSON JR--SUSANVILLE CALIF

Mary, our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.
