Not sure what to say?

Joel, was Very special to me and my family, we all loved him
, We miss him very much and will never forget him. ❤❤

Laura and Family,
May your loving memories help you through this sad time. Think of you.

I am very saddened to hear of Joel passing. When I lived on the Geary Rd. in the 90's he was my neighbor. Joel was the best friend and neighbor I could have ever had. Always right there to help with any task. I'll never forget one particular time I really needed his help! It was on a Saturday evening and my Basset Hound came home with a mouth full of porcupine quells. The nearest Vet that could see him was 45 miles away. Joel came to the rescue! It wasn't a easy job removing all the quells...

Many happy fun memories as high school friends...thinking of those times today and wishing your family strength to move forward without you...

I was very saddened to learn Joal had passed. I always thought of him as a gentle giant. Always a smile, when I knew he was not feeling well He always asked about my grandkids. Tayton and Joel shared the same bithday 4/1. I remembered how he laughed at the musical cards I would send him. He will always have a special place in my heart. It was an honor to be his nurse. RIP my friend. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. Love Shelley

Wow... shock and disbelief... Joel was a great friend and co-worker at DEC. We had some amazing times whether on the road, in the lab, or after work. Our best to all... (sigh...)

I am very saddened to hear the news and especially sad that I have not seen Joel in years. Joel was my very best friend at Randolph Elementary School and I still remember buying the little green square plastic lunch tokens from his grandmother; she kept us in line, in more ways than one.
Joel and I spent every Tuesday after school and had dinner at each others house every week for quite some time. Many thanks go out to Mary for putting up with us and feeding us. I was very lucky to visit...

Its been many years, but the memories of "Dole Banana" are some of our fondest. Dole was a good friend, a gentle giant wi the best smile. We shared many good times in high school. I too remember the day the circus came to town, and Dole making the decision to leave with it when it left. It was sad to say good bye..as it is now...i remember the words of 35 plus years ago" safe travels on your next journey, you will always be in our hearts" still is ringing true...

Mr. Hannah taught me physics and he taught me well. I received a D in his class and I deserved it! I wonder if I still would have pursued Engineering without his influence.
