I was very sad to hear Joel passed away. He was a very sweet cousin. He was always fun to be with, very patient with those of us "younger" kids.

Joel was working at Sequoia when I was teaching there. His kind and gentle spirit helped to keep the climate of a busy middle school in balance. He was highly respected. Those who knew him were blessed. Now it is those that have gone before him in heaven that will be blessed with his presence. May God's peace and Joel's spirit be felt by Pam and his family as they adjust to life without him. My prayers are with you.

Pam, we are so sorry to hear the news about Joel. When I think of Joel I think what a kind man, and how much he loved you. You both are two of our favorite people.
