When I was a girl of 11 years I lived in Bridgeport and was a Sox fan and still am at 73. My friends and I started a Joe Horlen fan club. We met him at Presbyterian St.Lukes Hospital when he was having a surgery. My young friend was on the same ward with a heart problem I still have some memorabilia from Joe with autographs. I also talk about how sweet he was to me and my friends. You have my sympathy and I will always think of him fondly.
