Not sure what to say?

I worked with Joel at Crestview and at lunch we would visit about life and his girls. Joel told me once on his Birthday after being hit by enemy gun fire he asked what day it was and I believe he said that it was his 21 birthday. I sold Joel his home and I then said you might want to talk to my husband the banker. He told me he had his own banker for years and would use him. I said that was fine. That evening I answered the phone at home and this man asked for Clark. I asked who was calling...

So sorry to hear of Joel's passing. He was a bowling team mate of ours at Timbers, and I played with him on some golf scrambles.(of note; I hit the drive and he made the putt for our 2 on a par 4). Great memory. In the 80's into the 90's there was horseshoes, table shuffleboard, and just hanging out. He was a great man, a good friend.

My condolences to the King family on Joels passing. He was a fine man that I knew from our early days in Toledo during the 60s & 70s. I´ll never ever forget the drag race on Bancroft late at night with two cars either of us cared if we wrecked or not....the follies of our youth. He will be missed dearly by his many friends from years gone by.

great guy always a friend lasting memory at get together he asked who are all these old people

Joel was a wonderful neighbor. So sorry for your loss.

Very sorry to hear of Joel's passing. Great guy. Great friend. Knew him since he came home from Viet Nam. Will miss him dearly.

Be at peace now. Heaven bound. Joel. Condolences to your family

I am so sorry to hear of Joels passing. I knew him from our days of working at Flower Hospital. Prayers for his family.

Nicky and Kristy I am so saddened by the loss of your dad. I got a chance to visit with him a while ago and he was so proud of you two. You both were the love of his life. May the following days land gentle on your shoulders.
