Not sure what to say?

On this beautiful July 4, 2025, I am again watching Legends and Lies. Most lovely series which certainly has piqued my interest my interest in the Founding Fathers. Joel King is George Washington!! Such majesty, strength, wisdom, courage and leadership are conveyed in his portrayal of the Father of our Country. The King family must be so proud of Joel. He brought a gift to Americans with his knowledge of George Washington and his ability to bring to life this legend and man. God Bless him as...

What a magnificent George Washington! We are all richer for his portrayal. My prayers and best wishes go to his family.

What an amazing man Mr. King must have been - watching his portrayal of General / President George Washington in Fox's Legends and Lies has been absolutely awe-inspiring. I was very saddened to read of his passing. May God rest his soul. Condolences to his family and friends.

I have only just found out that Mr King had passed away. He was without a doubt THE George Washington and whenever I think of Washington, Joel's face pops into my head. Nobody has ever come close to his portrayal of our Founding Father. I watch Patriots And Lies every time it's on mainly to see Joel's portrayal of Washington. I know I will miss him a lot. My prayers go out to his family and friends.

...you are, The Commander in Chief......

It is with great sadness I've heard of the passing of Mr King. His portrayal of George Washington brought history alive for me. He made me feel as if I was looking back through time at our most important founding father. In my mind he was George Washington. My sincere condolences to the King family.

I greatly enjoyed his portrayal of George Washington.

Enjoyed his work on various episodes of "A Haunting". Very good actor. My condolences to his family.

I first worked with Joel in 2009 on a local television project. Since then we kept in touch on Facebook and on various local productions. He was always a gentleman and great to be around. I'm so deeply sorry to hear of his loss, and offer my prayers and condolences to his family.
