Joel D. Knueppel

I remember Joel's cheerful service as a pro bono CPA for our startup charitable organization. Thanks to Joel, our books were kept in order, and our organization has gone from a local startup in 2000 to a worldwide service community. I will never forget Joel or the profound impact he had. Joel was a warm and thoughtful person who would do anything to help others. May he rest in peace, and may his family and friends know his helpfulness was much needed and very important to many.

Joel, we'll sure miss you, buddy. You gave such cheer to all the people you worked with, and your energy and enthusiasm were infectious. The last thing you said to me, with reference to volunteer service, was "Every little thing we do really counts." I'll never forget that. You sure did a lot of little and big things. You did them with a generosity and kindness that I will always remember. Thank you, Joel, for all you did and for who you were.
