Joe and I became friends as neighbors in Beaverton in the eighties. I always respected his intellect, artistic talent and fortitude. He was a master at his trade. Joel was incredibly generous, every time he saw me, he gave me a small gift, never asking for anything in return. He did it so casually that I could tell he did the same for many freinds. My big brother, Joel, was a friend and loving sibling, eldest of four. My fond memories of early childhood and also mischievous teen years will always be with me. We ice skated, roller skated, had fun family vacations and lived a good life. I'm happy that he is, once again, able to be free and easy. I miss you Joel.....till we meet again. Cissie
