Joel M. Sifuentes, 71 years old went to be with Our Lord on August 21, 2021.
Joel was a devoted husband to Yvonne Chavez Sifuentes, his high school sweetheart and loving wife of 51 years. Loving father to Janelle Adams (Tom) and Joel A. Sifuentes (Leilani). Proud grandfather of Jenna Adams Gremmer (Brandon), Justine, Jiselle, and Tommy Lee Adams, Alaina Rodriguez, Joel Alexander Sifuentes, and Jarod Sifuentes. Brother of Elia S. Rodriguez. Uncle to Leticia Trevino (Fernando) and Sheri Krueger. Brother-in-law of Yolanda Lillis (Ken).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Merardo and Carolina Sifuentes, grandson Baby Angel Adams, brother-in-law, Phillip Rodriguez, and his in-laws Raul and Alicia Chavez.
Joel graduated from La Salle High School, attended St. Mary's University, and served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves.
He began his career as an Automotive Parts Salesman at Wayne Bull Company, then Poppe Automotive. He retired from O'Reilly Auto Parts in 2011 but continued as a sales consultant. He received many honors and accolades in his profession.
Joel was an avid music lover and golfer. He enjoyed being at all his grandchildren's school and sporting events cheering them on. Joel will be deeply missed and remembered by his family and friends.
