My first job was at City Hall in the Planning Department, where Joel Matthews was one of my bosses. He was a brilliant man and did do a lot to improve the City of Woonsocket. He was also a lot of fun to work with. I admired his work ethic, never taking lunches and working straight through them, like the other guys in the Planning Department.
