Not sure what to say?

Joel gave me my first job back in 1980; he was an extraordinary visionary in health policy and a great mentor. I am so sorry to hear of his passing.

We are so very sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Mrs. May, Kathy and Sean.

Joel cared so much for his community. As a dedicated volunteer for the Talking Book & Braille Center in Trenton, he recorded magazines for our visually-impaired customers for many years. We will miss his wonderful personality and wit.

May the Lord comfort you in your grieving.

Joel was a special friend whom I met as a fellow singer in Hopewell Valley Chorus. He helped me set up a data base for Chorus and was so generous with his time and always available for Computer related questions. I learned so much from him at Ewing Computer Center and loved his stories of what he was preparing for dinner when it was his 'turn'! He was such a vibrant active man, an inspiration.

Joel May was an amazing and generous man who devoted much of his life to helping others. He read for many years at Audiovision, the radio reading service of the Library for the Blind, now the Talking Book and Braille Center. He will be missed. Anne McArthur, Retired Head of Audiovision

Joel will be remembered for his generosity and intelligence he shared with the Computer Learning Center, Ewing N.J. We will truly miss him.

Sang bass and taught the computer. We will miss him.

Dear Helen,
Joel was a unique person and I will miss him. I coached for him at the computer center many times and I learned a great deal from him.
