Joel D. McDavid

I have always admired Joel McDavid.
I grew up at Dauphin Way, and was very active in the church before attending school in Richmond, VA in
preparation for full time church work. My brother, Robert (Bob), a retired UMC missionary, now living in Minnesota, was a good friend of Joel's in years gone by. I just called to tell him about Joel's death. My prayers are with the family at this time. Everyone will miss him.

Becky and I are lifting your family in prayer this day. We give thanks to God for Bishop Joel McDavid and his very effective ministry and faithful witness for Jesus Christ throughout his lifetime. We remember him in South Georgia and his touch upon our lives. All praise to God for this wonderful man of God.
