Joel F. Pott

I knew Joel for over 20 years professionally. Our careers paralled each others in health care. I always respected Joel's insight and honesty. We became close friends when we served on the Board of Directors of Michigan Resonance Imaging. A few years ago we both left our respective health care employers. Joel and I have kept in touch regularly over lunch and golf and recently were discussing doiing business in his new position at Kirco. Joel was a true gentleman and i am proud to have known him.

So sorry to hear about Joel's death. He was a very kind, gentle, professional man with a wonderfully caring heart...especially for his family. He was my boss for many years at Mt. Clemens General Hospital as I served as director of occupational therapy. My heart goes out to all of Joel's family and friends. Remembering his goodness.

Joel was my best friend who lived a few houses down from me while growing up on Lincoln Avenue in Ann Arbor from about 1955 to 1962. We shared many childhood adventures together such as bicycling in Burns Park and the surrounding area, newspaper routes, and vacations with my parents up north at Burt Lake. His siblings; Martha, Claudia, and Tim were also a huge part of my childhood. I am sad to hear of his passing. May he rest in peace.
