Not sure what to say?

Like everyone I was socked and saddened to hear the news. My thoughts are with you and the family during this difficult time. It reminds me the importance and family and helped me appreciate my weekend with Sean that much more.

Steve and Renee,
I felt so bad when hearing of Joel's passing. I can't imagine the feelings of loss and despair you're feeling. When someone as good and young as Joel passes, it's because God needs another angel. I love you both very much, and you remain in my prayers and thoughts. Rog

My deepest condolences to Joels family. The time spent with you in Pine Haven will never be forgotten.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands laid to rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.
R.I.P Joel

Dear Bill & Antoinette,
We just heard the tragic news today of your son's passing. It's difficult to find the words that adequately express the sadness we feel for you and your family. We remember well the times Bill spoke so proudly of his son, especially when he showed us the "NFL" room where he grew up. I am so sorry that I was not able to be with you at the time of Joel's wake and funeral. My travel schedule this year gives me little time in Binghamton. I remember first meeting Joel when Renee taught my sons Jeb and Grant at Riverside Nursery School. Joel was the light of your life. My heart aches for all of you. I can't begin to imagine the deep and profound pain that comes from surviving your child. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. God bless!
