Joey was the youngest of our group of cousins. There were 10 of us and we always had such good times for Christmas, birthdays, those fun filled summer days playing ball, family get-to-gethers. Why Joey had to suffer this terrible disease and ordeal, we will never know. But what I do know is that Joey showed us all what strength and courage are and how to live them. We also saw how someone can walk hand-in-hand with Christ to AGAIN defeat Death.
