Joel G. Sheffey, 73, of Columbus, passed away at his residence on January 28, 2018. Born in Manhattan on April 29, 1944 to the late James and Eneid (Gordon) Sheffey. He is survived by his wife, Hernilda; son, Atul; daughter, Yasmin; granddaughter, Layla Rosella; and sister, Thea Sheffey. Visitation will be held Sunday, February 4, 2018 from 1-2PM with a ceremony taking place at 2PM at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Zusman Hospice or Ohio State Comprehensive Transplant Center. To leave online condolence visit www.schoedinger.com.
