Not sure what to say?

Hello,

We apologize for being so late in expressing our deepest condolences to you and your family. We want you to know that we will be sending Care Packages to deployed troops this holiday season and several of these will be dedicated to your loved one. Each package will carry the name, photo, service branch, rank and hometown of Joel A. Taylor US Army Specialist.

We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want you...

Bro there's not a day that goes by that I don't think of you! You are always thought about! See you in the Fiddlers Green when my time comes!

There are no words to tell you how much I miss you, it is almost Memorial Day and my heart aches to see you smile or hear your laugh. I know that you are in Heaven with our God looking over us all. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of you. Sometimes I just laugh thinking about us when we were at South Carolina, other days I cry to see you or hear your voice. I pray for all of our soldiers to return home to their families and thank them for their service. I love and miss...

In trying to describe how even in the end of conflict, brothers in arms still miss the ones they've fought with and grown to love, Joshua Chamberlain spoke these words.

The pageant has passed.
The day is over.
But we linger, loath to think we should see them no more together,
These men,
These horses,
These colors afield.

Rest In Peace Joel, Your Mission Is Complete.
