I am so sorry to hear this and I remember Joel from my class a few years ago at Liberty. He was always so kind and we would always share stories about our kids. His face would light up when he talked about his family. I remember him talking about his long commutes to school each day but he always had a smile on his face. I will be praying for your family and please know his Liberty family is praying for you!

My heartfelt sympathy for the family. His life on earth seems to have ended much too soon. Rest in the assurance that he will live eternally with God. You will see him again. May God cushion your hearts to get through these difficult days & days ahead. Call out to Jesus & He will hear & comfort you.

I knew Joel since he was 4 and I was 9 years old at the Schoolfield Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was a wonderful and Godly person with a great smile and laugh. It was an honor to have known him. My wife Angie and I enjoyed our times with him and Amy when we lived in Greensboro several years ago. I look forward to seeing my friend Joel again one day soon. We will laugh together with our heavenly Father by our side.

Bonnie and Jody,
I am so sorry for your loss, but you and I know God is and will always stand by us. I have to tell myself so many times that he said he's there and all we have to do is call his name.
I love each of you very much,
Irene
