Joel and I met at HTL in about 2002. We hit it off thanks to both having a no nonsense attitude and we both had been in trucking a long time. We were friends through his cancer and my sister dying. He retired and we stayed in touch. He was a good man and a special man. Somehow we lost contact so every so often I´d check online for his obituary. Today, there it was. He hasn´t been forgotten nor will he be. RIP old timer. To the family- while we never met know that Joel was appreciated...
