We are so very sorry for your loss. We will all miss him very much. We are here for anything you may need. He lived a wonderful life; something to be proud of

Jodi, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I am so sorry for your loss. Sherry David

Oh Kay, we just learned of Joel's death, and are so sorry! We don't see you often, but always are met with a warm greeting whenever we do run into you both! Joel was a big 'teddy bear'kind of guy. He was warm, kind, soft spoken, and had a great twinkle in his eyes! May memories shared with family and friends give you comfort and peace!

Key, Jody, Kelsey, Connor and Kayla, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Hoping you find peace in God's Grace. big HUGS!

My deepest sympathy to you and your family, Kay.

Kay, to you and all your family my sincere condolences. Your husband was such a kind gentleman. He will remain in fond memories for many people.

Kay,
The first words that come to mind when I think of Joel are: calm strength. He served many as an intelligent, patient insightful guide for many of us; and his delving into active outreach for the community was a small mirror of his love for you and your family. I always got a kick out of the sparkle in his eye when I talked about one of his kids, or was cracking a joke under his breath!

So sorry for your loss. He will definitely be missed. May faith and good memories...

Mr. Vanderwall (the only way that I would address him, because I respected him and thought he was a great man.) Growing up as a kid in the neighborhood Mr. Vanderwall always had a smile, he would always talk to you as a person and he reallly cared about you. We were blessed to have him touch our lives. I am sad that I cannot make the funeral or visitation, but hope to spend a little time with the family next time I am in Muskegon. Love to all, I am very sorry for you loss. Love Jay...

Kay, we will miss his smiling face here at the Hearing Wellness Center. Thoughts and prayers to you and your family.
