I knew Joel through our association in business, where I found him to be a very fair and extremely ethical businessman, and more importantly a joy of a human being. I'm sorry for his passing, and may peace be with his family and friends during these difficult times. I'm glad Joel got to see the Cubs win the World Series, and I'm equally happy he had such a long life on this earth, where he was able to touch the lives of so many people. God bless. Joel was a friend and a business associate since 1974. We regularly visited, a good portion business, but also socially, especially when it came to sports. Joel once said "You know we don't agree on everything but we never argue about it ". I'm sure that Joel and Merle are happy now together probably at many Cubs and Northwestern games. Joel will be missed. Ray Grabowski
