Not sure what to say?

I did not know that Joel had passed. I knew him from Ft McPherson where he would bring his car to the PX garage where I worked. He was such a great, funny guy. I can begin to tell you how many day old bagels he brought to us there at the station. I'm sorry for your loss. Joel was a wonderful, giving person. I was honored to know him. Peace & Grace to all of you.

Joel was always such a bright spot for me when visiting my Mom Billie at Fountain view. My condolences to Peggy she was such a lovely and devoted wife. He is missed! Carrie Richards

So sorry to hear of Joel’s death. We send out sincere sympathies and love to you all.

Peggy I am so sad to read this! Please know my thoughts are with you at this extremely hard time. I would love to see you when things settle down with the quarantine. Mom and I have so Many great memories with you and Joel at Fountainview.

Joel was a wonderful father-in-law and grandfather. He was so witty and funny. We enjoyed several trips to the beach and so many laughs. Our kids loved being silly with Joel and share his love of rocks. He made the best humus and pimento cheese. We all miss him so much.

My deepest condolences to the Weis family. I knew Joel for many years through our daughters's friendship since childhood. He was an interesting person with a delightful fun loving personality. He was loved by his family and friends and will be missed.

May God bless and comfort your family in the days ahead
