My late sister introduced JoEllen to me at Farmers Alley theatre over 10 years ago. Since that introduction JoEllen and Bob along with me and my husband enjoyed trips to The Purple Rose, Saugatuck Center for the Arts, DeVos Performance Hall and Farmers Alley to see many productions. JoEllen´s joy of life, her laughter, love and generosity will be missed. She was one in a million.

So sorry to hear of JoEllen's passing. Our family knew theirs from worshipping together at First Methodist Church in Grand Rapids and from both our families having cottages at Gun Lake. JoEllen was full of energy and enjoyed a good laugh. I am glad I knew her.
