Not sure what to say?

My brother and I grew up with Joey in Modesto. He was a great friend. My brother and I have many fond memories of Joey, while playing baseball and going to elementary school. Sorry to hear about his passing. With much love, Jonathan Coley and Family

Joey always had a warm heart and a awesome smile . I got to know Joey from him playing softball with my brother Charles Wallace I went on many softball trips with the team and Joey always made me laugh and smile because he would always tease me I will never forget you fly with the angels your pain is over . I am so sorry for the family that lost such a awesome and amazing man rest in peace

I still remember the fond memories of a boy who moved down the street from me in Knights Ferry, a small rural historic community.I was so excited that summer to have a new friend. A boy named Joey, with an infectious smile and a loving personality. We were fast friends and before long ,my closest friend. We were only in each others lives for a short while but I will never forget the loyal compassionate caring friend that was always there for me through the ugly cries to the many care free...

Joey you were one of the kindest people I have ever known. You always had a warm smile and could light up the room with your good hearted nature. You were always a good friend and would always give your shoulder to cry on and loyal friend when i needed you . It was not only a gift but a joy to have known you . You were a loving and care free spirit . You never had a mean bone in your body. You could always make your friends smile and laugh. You had a light of your own that brightened up...

This is how I remember you always smiling!

My heart is bleeding for the pain and empty feeling death brings. It is never easy to lose someone in our lives. I know for sure not your child. There is no cure for that pain except to know that they are still with you. I was so blessed to have known such a sweet, happy and easy going person like Joey. He always made my day better without even trying. Its not often enough you meet someone that brings life like he did, thanks Joey Combs you will always be in my heart. May you rest in peace....

You will be missed, Joey. Your joy, enthusiasm for fishing, softball, and all the things we enjoyed sharing with you is how you will be remembered in our hearts. May the wind always be at your back, the sun on your wonderful smiling face, and the road rise to meet you as you journey along in new adventures in the "great perhaps".

RIP Joey , You were a good Man and a better fisherman and baseball Player. Good Thoughts and Prayers for you & your Family

My condolences to the Family.

I will always Love you Joey. I will never forget the time we shared and all the memories we created. Although losing you too soon, I will find strength in this loss, to stay on my reclaimed journey of recovery. You wanted that so much for the both of us. I will stay strong not only myself, Kevin and Ricky, but for you my Love. I will never forget Softball, Fishing Trips, family gatherings, Poker Tournaments, our little girl "trixxie" and many other great memories of the years we shared. Fly...
