Not sure what to say?

I'm JoEllyn's little sister. That was what I was known as to all of her friends in school and I wore it proudly. I adored her. She was beautiful, smart, fun, and talented. She is missed by all that knew her. I have missed her everyday.

I remember JoEllen from Fullerton High School. She was a very beautiful girl and very friendly. I am glad she did so well in her life. MY prayers go out to her family. I know she will be greatly Missed.

Please accept our deepest sympathies.

Joey will be greatly missed by all of her classmates. I remember her as a pretty and vivacious young woman who always had a smile for everyone.

I have known Joey since 1985. Sadly, I met her only once in person. But, the time we spent on our lengthy telephone calls were a pleasure. I loved her like a family member and will never forget her. I will miss our chats and the many laughs we shared. My condolences go out to Michael, Bronwyn and Bryan and all the rest of her children and grandchildren. Michael, I am always here for you...just a phone call away.

Dear friends and family of JoEllen,
Tho I have not seen her since we graduated, I have such fond memories of our loved one, she was always so sweet and giving, loving and helpful.
Sincerly, DyAnna (Tinker) Brooks

Though our paths never met after graduating from high school, I remember Joe Ellyn as an attractive, vivacious, and friendly teenager. That image remains with me still. I extend my sympathy to Michael, Bryan, and Bronwyn. May the happy memories of all the yesterdays ease the sorrow you feel today.

Joey Hix was my grandmother. She will be remembered and loved by her friends and family. She was also survived by her daughter Jana, other son Steve, and seven other grandchildren. One of my memories of her was when she would watch me at Floor Decor and let me play in the carpet samples, we always had a good time together. My condolences to Mike, Bryan, and Bronwyn.

To Joey's family: We were classmates at Fullerton Union High School, graduating in 1958. I have not seen her since, although we did exchange a few emails a few years ago. When I think of her, she is always smiling. I remember her as a happy teen with only good things to say about others. This is how I remember her. My deepest sympathies go to her family and friends.
