It was such a memorable gig you & I played with Pete Constantine & Joe Graham at the lounge attached to Derriere's. I like to think of it as a "Magical Moment In Time" old friend. No one in Charleston had the "touch" that you had on the piano, Joey!

Joey Ray, so many great memories with you! Hours and years of memories with you! You taught me so much! Bought my first cool car from you. 73 Chrysler New Yorker! Loved pulling the piano out downtown at East bay trading and drinking wine! I love you brother!

You will truly be missed, Joey Ray. I loved sharing the stage with you and Frank Hinson. Such a talented pianist. Rest in peace, my friend.

He was a fantastic keyboard player back in the day. A very nice guy too. Peace to the family.
